Time Does Fly
A year plus with out any updates.
Thanks to you guys who checked up on me. Big ups to you all.
So so much has happened in the last year.
I fell in love :-) and believed it would last but it did not. :-(
Yup, it hurt and still hurts like a mother f***er.
The Company i work for merged with another multinational. so in essence we are bigger, better and meaner to take on the industry and kick competions' butt. More opportunities etc.
French people suck! Rude asses. but make we dey watch they go.
I've been single for 6 months now and i find myself dangerously shifting away from men. not that i'm moving to women. God, no! just not into the drama of ''man''.
I find that i still have very deep resentment for my ex. I wish he'd just leave me alone and not call me cuz his calls get me agitated, irritated and very upset.
His family and i still communicate from time to time and it ticks him off. so i just don't tell him anything. he feels we talk about him or some shit like that. honestly, we do not. even when we broke up his sister asked me what happened of which i did not give her the details. i just let it slide by.
oops, my connect just went crazy on me. lost some write up. arrgghhh.
well, he warned me to stay away from his family. like some psycho chic who wants to steal his family or something. like if.... What an imagination.

A Lot
A lot of stuff has happened in the past year.
after i started a new job earlier in the year everything has been quite a blurrrrrrrrrr.
only really bright spot has been my mum and my love.
it'll soon be a year and and and I'm sure of what i feel.
he's gangster i tell you. lol.
i need another job. things are not working out as i thought they would.
some restrictions I'm not enjoying.
I'm under utilized and beginning to feel demotivated. the exposure is not it at all. nothing forward.
my boss loves me but soon it'll be bye.
i now know how to tye gele. a relief that is i tell you.
i've been so scared of the thing for years.
thing is when you pay to learn something yourself, you take it seriously.
i put my head down and learnt.
i'm proud of me.
but, fixing strand by strand lashes is a definite no no for me right now.
i'll stick to strips. safer to put on and safer to take off.
at least you are sure your eyelashes, no matter how scanty they are, will remain.

THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!
Today is my birthday!
I thank God for all that he has done for and given to me.
but mein i am close to the 30 now o! 29 and counting.
My best friend called and wished me happy 50th birthday. Then my boyfriend calls to wish me happy 40th birthday.
well, not today but by His grace i go reach.
Obama is a special guy. The date of his inauguration just fell on the right date. :-)
need i say more. :-)
The office is giving me 2 cakes from my favorite cake place "Araba's Homemade" in Yaba.
Their cakes are to die for.

New Year. New Cheer!
I got a job offer from a multinational oil and gas company with branches in over so many countries!
yeah!!!
it's going to pay me twice what i've been taking home now for the past 5 months!
the benefits are not bad at all!
all in all it makes sense.
PLENTY of sense.
I feel kind bad, some worth, that i have to leave now when they need all hands on deck.
God knows i have put in my all the best ways i know how into keeping operations running.
It is scary moving again.
Lord, guide my footsteps. (on my knees).
I am a pioneer and i will succeed.
